It's A Whole New Web: And this time around it will be built by you

It seems like I just wrote about this topic recently... the network is the computer is becoming the network is your computer. It's this perpetual tug-of-war between the computing balance shifting between here and there, personal and public, desktop and network. From mainframes and dummy terminals to personal computers to the Internet, bulletin board thingamabobs, then the World Wide Web to now. Every person's computer as a server. And then... some sort of meta-network... whatever that means... ;)

Everyone has their place along this gradient of visionaries, creators, doers, viewers, and oblivious. Relating to yesterday's article, this is also a gradient of how many opportunities one will have in life. Is it possible to move up? Maybe put some more effort into this and I can become a visionary-creator. Right now more of a theoretical creator. ;)
